This is a template song for using the Roland JD-Xi in Renoise.
The JD-Xi keyboard is set up to send MIDI for whatever part is currently selected.
Each part is represented as a single Renoise instrument and recording is tied to a specific track:
Track 1 –> Digital Synth 1
Track 2 –> Digital Synth 2
Track 3 –> Drums
Track 4 –> Analog Symth
Track 5 is for rendering only (the Line Input device on this track has to be turned on first).
This template is made to be used with the JD-Xi's internal audio and MIDI interface. For this to work properly, the following settings on the JD-Xi are suggested:
Menu –> System –> MIDI –> Local Switch OFF
Menu –> System –> MIDI –> Sync Mode SLAVE
