Set of 3 electric guitars and 2 electric bass multisamples recorded in different conditions by Gary Campion from FlameStudios.

This set of instrument is converted from FlameStudios GPL'ed sound fonts ( http://www.flamestudios.org/free/Soundfonts ) and accordingly also released under GPL. The Xrni conversion retains the original explicit intend of not imposing GPL to any music created with those samples.

Electric guitars models:

Electric guitars instrument flavours:

All electric guitars samples are provided in several Xrni. The Standard is the most versatile one (multi sampled by velocity, the lowest range being muted) and the Slaps N Slides is a set of effects performed with the instrument. Those 2 flavours are the recommended picks for every guitars.

Next to them are 3 companions instruments (reusing the same sample but mapped differently), the Muted instrument has the muted sample covering the whole velocity range, the Solo & Muted 5th and Muted 5th & Solo are both intended to allow two hands playing (on a master keyboard for instance) and have each a different playing style.

Electric bass instrument flavours:

The Ibanez has a simple instrument while the Yamaha one was recorded using the same Standard and Slaps N Slides as the guitars flavours, in either Direct or via a J-Station. The Standard J-Station recorded one is too large to be uploaded here (around 70MBytes) but I can upload it and provide a link to it.

12 strings fake instruments:

Original samples also provide a Fake 12 String flavour by superposing samples from the Standard flavour. This extra companion instrument is too large to be uploaded here (around 100Mbytes each), but if anyone is interested, I can upload and provide a link to those.
