A happy accident I made while working on my entry for the current SDCompo round 91 :)
Features a flange set to near-maximum feedback (by default) feed through a low-cut filter, a distortion effect, a high-cut filter, and finally a limiter to keep peaks from blasting you. I did my best to maintain gain levels through the range of settings, particularly Drive and Feedback, but there's still room for some tweaking.
Macro Controls:
ModMeSlo ==> Flange LFO amplitude, great for varying feedback harmonics
High-Cut ==> LP Moog Filter cutoff frequency (it can get pretty shrill)
Low-Cut ==> HP 8n Butterworth set to 200Hz by default, to remove low-end mud
Drive ==> Distortion amount with Wet signal gain offset (might need further tweaking)
Feedback ==> Flange Feedback and Flange Amount level, 0%-98% with corresponding gain offset (again, might need tweaking), 0 = bypass
Seems to work best with a modulated filter right before it in the DSP chain, but share your own concoctions :D
Audio example added for previewing. First bar is dry, second bar adds Drive, third bar adds Feedback, fourth bar drops High-cut, and things modulate after that. At 2:15 Drive is dropped to 0, leaving only Feedback.
